Nessebar - a city from fabulous dreams

Like my favorite Croatian Porec, old Nessebar is an open-air museum. The city of 40 churches as if he woke up from centuries-old sleep. Like hundreds of years ago, a tangled labyrinth of narrow streets paving broken down, leads to ancient temples, small cozy parks and picturesque terraces with a magnificent view of the sea. If you dream of a special rest, do not even look at the new part of the seaside resort. It looks like hundreds of others - entertainment Sunny Beach, noisy golden sands or full tourists Varna. It is better to follow my example by choosing one of the small family hotels on a separate peninsula.

My family and I ordered a room in a modest three-star hotel "Saint Georgy". Apartments, where skillfully hosts a welcoming Bulgarian family, bring guests like relatives. There is no luxury at all, but every corner breathes warmth. The spacious rooms offer an unforgettable sea landscape. Lying on a wide bed, I did not see the coast and did not hear the urban noise - the endless azure covered with light lamb washed. Cleaning is carried out every day, the decent maid not only does not climb on open suitcases, but also shy to take tips left on the table. The only minus hotels are very modest breakfast. A pair of pieces of bread, thin slices of tomato and cucumber and a few plates, sausages and cheeses could not even be such a little girl like me.

But in Nessebar it is easy to find something delicious. Restaurant "Neptune", located near a small beach, though silence, but shrinks elite cuisine. A plate with aubrous shark, like many other meat delicacies, is accompanied by a side dish and salad, and is able to feed even a hungry wolf. And in order to describe the ice cream in half melons, there will not be enough words. If you want to eat cheaply and tastefully, go to one of the cafes on the territory of Entrepreneur - here every evening there are some discounts. Do you like desserts? Take a look at the "Clio" at the entrance to the old Nessebar. Any local dessert is similar to the work of art. We spent the evening, alternating "Calypso" with a huge Bulgarian stove and grill and exquisite "Aquamarine", which serves magic seafood. Middle dinner on three sucked from 50 to 80 lion.

And the days took place in walks. In order to save a little on excursions, do smarter than me, and buy a united ticket in the church and museums of Nessebar. The most interesting in my opinion is the Church of Christ of the Pankrator, the Church of Saint Paraskeva and St. Stephen. And be sure to look at the Museum of Films. His owner is an avid collector, who collected the authentic details from the filming of the Terminator, the "Lord of the Rings", "Chronicle of Riddika" and "Star Wars". Many impressions left the folklore festival of gymnastics, held in the walls of an ancient amphitheater.

On the beach we spent quite a bit of time, although the sea in Nessebar is warm and very clean. All the beaches here are public, but for beach amenities (lounge chairs and umbrellas) will have to lay out 5 lion per day.

From the bus station at the entrance to the old town you can get to other resorts: in Pomorie, on Sunny Beach, in Varna, Burgas and Sozopol. From here, there is a free bus to the kingdom of entertainment - a huge water park. Missing during the Bulgarian vacation is clearly not necessary.
