Rested in Hurghada with her husband in the summer of last year. It was our first and very long-awaited trip to such an advertised and sunny Egypt, which was very pleased and left a sea of positive emotions for the whole year.
Arriving in Hurghada, the first thing we rated is a big, modern and comfortable airport. While on the street was far for +40, the airport building was very comfortable and cool. At the same time, we liked everything: the level of service, the comfort of the building, the help of Arabs and quite reasonable prices in stores and airport cafes.
Arriving in your hotel, we decided not to waste time and immediately went to the beach (our hotel was on the first coastline). The picture I saw was forever imprinted in my memory. I have not seen such a beauty of the sea anywhere (although before that we and my husband traveled a lot). Clean and warm water of extraordinary color, colorful underwater world, snow-white sand and soft South Breeze is that for which it is worth come to Hurghada.
As for the city itself, we were able to get a little familiar with him during a trip to the Mamsh area by taxi. What struck us most is the contrast of living conditions on site and beyond. For the high fence of the hotel complex - luxury, comfort and beauty, and beyond the realities of the harsh and poor life of the local population, where every Arab, in pursuit of a key earnings, is ready to pounce on his neighbor or a friend, just to be first.
The territory of the city is predominantly low-rise modern buildings or dilapidated poor workers and many shopping shops, shops and all sorts of eaters where you can have a snack.
Prices for products and souvenir products in the city are high enough, as they are designed mainly on far from poor tourists. But if you do not leave without need for the territory of the hotel, you can easily avoid unforeseen embarrassment.
