In the very center of the capital there is a tomb of the first Kenyan president - Jomo Kenyatty, who in 1964 took his honorary post. This happened after the country acquired the status of independent, and before that, Jomo was the local vice president. Many locals to this day call him the father of the nation, as he worked for the benefit of his people, and he was elected for as many as three times in a row. A magnificent speaker who knew how to attract the attention of the audience, and make them listen to themselves, a journalist who always fought for the well-being of his people, as well as an excellent leader who remembers him to this day.
Today, tourists can visit the president's mausoleum, but the photographing here is categorically prohibited, and to the Mausoleum itself, even tourists should treat very respectful.
Railway Museum. Address: OFF HAILE SELLASIE AVENUE, NAIROBI, KENYA.
The museum was opened in honor of the African Railway, in 1971. Queen Victoria arrived here in honor of the launch of the first steam locomotive, which had a great honor not only to builders of the road itself, but also many local residents of the city.
The road due was to become a connecting element between Uganda and Kenya, therefore, many exhibits are dedicated to this beautiful historical, now, legend. Today, the railway is still in working condition, and tourists ride surprisingly vintage and rare locomotives, although it happens quite rarely. Snake Park created with the aim of acquaintance of local residents with snakes and reptiles of the African continent. Being founded in 1949, the authorities not only created a wonderful place for tourist visits, but also defended the mountains and the surrounding territory, where amazing animals live and rare species grow. Sources of water that are stored nearby areas and settlements are preserved.
Over time, tourists increasingly began to come here, because the territory of the park is about seven hundred square kilometers, and more than half is at an altitude of three thousand kilometers above sea level.
Some borders of the park are separated from agricultural land with electric shock to protect the planting of people from frequent elephant raids. I was struck by a landscaped diversity, because on the territory you can meet both plains and glaciers and forests, which is very beautiful and unusually at the same time.
Not in vain, from 1997, the National Park is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Lifting to the mountain Londonot is just an incredible adventure that I brought a lot of pleasure and impressions. And, although, the height of 2777 meters, along climbing standards is not very high, but it is very beautiful and exciting. It is very beautiful here, since the Mountain is a crater of an extinct volcano, which over the years has covered the greens of trees and shrubs. The last eruption was here in 1860, so today the peak of the mountain can conquer every tourist. From here it is perfectly visible a rift valley with its beauty lakes, as well as the surroundings of the country of Kenya. In addition, the National Park was created around the mountain, the nature of which is under state Kenyan protection.
Church of St. Mark.
On the territory of Nairobi is the only Orthodox Church, which are very small in the entire African continent. It was erected by Egyptian Christians - Copts, and the Holy Apostle Mark is considered the first preacher of Christianity in Africa, so the church itself was called in his honor.
In 2009, Patriarch Alexandria and Feodor II visited the Church in Nairobi. And all due to the fact that all communities of Eastern African territories united in the Irinopolskaya metropolis, thanks to which the status of the church rose a little. Many Christians live in Nairobi, so they come to church services just here.
