Magic country Rajasthan and his pearl Udaipur

The name Rajistan is translated as a country of Raj. I only visited one of his royal cities - Udaipur, but I think that this is the heart of Rajastana! What is famous Udaipur? It is also called Indian Venice, and all because he stands on Picola Lake. There are also several artificial lakes here, there are channels, there are boats and boats, and most importantly - in the middle of the lake there is a real palace!

Well, in Indian understanding the palace, not Versailles, of course. But it was here that one of the series about James Bond (Octopussy) was removed here, and since then this film is twisted in every cafe in the evenings as entertainment for tourists.

In Udaipur, just gorgeous views from the roofs! Therefore, all hotels and restaurants have a rooftop - a roof with tables where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and sunrises for a cup of something. And after sunset, all coastal buildings are highlighted that in combination with lace white architecture it looks just magical!

In Udaipura, I lived for two weeks in a wonderful hotel, proging the evening on Ruf Top. Unfortunately, all the advantages and beauties of Udaipura are mixed up and cons in the form of a real Indian reality - dirt on the streets, cows that go where it fell and as it fell (and you yourself understand what else do where it fell, so you should always look at your feet! ). Do not do without bold-indian - everyone strives to take you to a taxi somewhere towards local attractions for fabulous money.

But if you do not want to go far, then right in the city center there is a museum - the former city palace of Maharaja. There inside the present oriental magic - carved windows, shiny colored stained glass windows from pieces of mirrors, while all the old and natural. The spirit captures, honestly.

And in Udaipur everywhere at home, real paintings are drawn - local art. Therefore, walking along the streets of Udaipur is nice, despite all the shortcomings that arise at times (stench, garbage, homeless dogs, beggars - all this is, but really a bit!). The whole salt of India is in general that you can learn to distinguish your beautiful among the terrible and enjoy it.
