The wonderful capital of Azerbaijan - Baku delightes the arrival at first sight. And I, not thinking, fell in love with this city.
First of all, I wanted to stroll along the famous Primorsky Boulevard, which runs on kilometers along the sea. Boulevard decorate chestnuts, palm trees, plane fees between which fountains are lost. Eyes run away from abundance of cafes, restaurants and cinemas. And the funicule is delivered to Nagorno Park, where you can enjoy the awesome panorama of the city.
From the boulevard we went to ride a boat on the Baku Bay. During this maritime travel, the guide told interesting legends and facts from the history of the Caspian Sea.
There is in Baku and the historical part, located at the other end of the city, it is called Baku Acropolis or Icheri Sheher, which means the inner city. This historical and architectural reserve is separated from the modern world powerful walls, for which he is called a fortress. Here will be very interesting to connoisseurs of ancient history. In the old town, many rich buildings decorated with unusual patterns and ornaments.
On the territory of the Old Town, we visited the Palace of the Shirvanshakh dynasty, which includes the palace, the place of the meeting of foreign ambassadors - Divanhans, Mosque with Minaret, the Mausoleum of Seyid Yahya Bakuvi, Shirvanshah Upm, East Portal and Hamam - Bath. Walks all this "Maiden Tower" - Igeriseher, who is one of the largest temples of the world. It could have more than 200 people. Scientists still cannot determine the accurate age of this beautiful structure, but they argue that already in the 13th century it was the main fortification structure of the city. Why "Maiden"? Because uncomparable, impregnable. The locals told that, according to Legend, Shah fell in love with his own daughter and wanted to marry her. The daughter tried to dissuade him, and asked to build a tower, in the hope that his father, during the construction, thought. But this did not happen, and the girl climbed to the top of the tower and rushed into the sea.

We also visited the minaret of the son-feces, in the House of Baku Khan and in the Mosque Muhammad Ibn Abu-Bakra. We watched the baths of the 15-19th centuries and the 25-18 centuries shopping complex. Unfortunately, did not have time to watch the caravanserag of Multani, Bukhara, Mollahana.
