Island of Ko Phangan - Full Moon Party VS Calmside!

Anonim

We and my husband were very lucky that our friends flew to relax on Ko Phangan, and we called there to visit. Otherwise, we would not have visited there, and the island is worth relaxing on it! Although far from getting, to be honest. From Bangkok you need to get to the city of Surattani, and specifically to the pier Donssak, and there to sit on the ferry. Only because of the fact that there is also a Samui island near Pangan, almost all ferries first go to Samui, and Phangan follows - the final stop. The ferry drags very slowly, so while we walked down to Pangan, they even managed to root.

The island of Ko Phangan is known primarily by his Full Moon Party-beach parties under the full moon, when the people go to the outstand overnight. These parties are held, as a rule, on one beach, which is called Hada Rin (it is in the southeastern part of the island). Since we needed a relaxing holiday, we decided to go to the opposite side of the island. Local minibuses - Songteo - unpleasantly surprised us too resort prices - 200 baht from the beach to the beach! Well, okay, they wrote off that the place was painfully popular.

We settled on the beach halad Salad, in a pretty house for 400 baht a day. The feature of the house was that he stood on the top of the mountain, and from the balcony (as well as from my window), a chic view of the sea and a road serpentine was opened. A hammock and table attended the veranda, in the very number of poor beds and a hanger between them. But for a week (it is so much time we allocated on Phangan) just right! They removed the bike in our guesthouse and went to watch the island.

Well, the roads there, I will tell you! I thought it was dangerous to ride on Khanga, but Phangan won. Not only are constant descents-lifts under rather oblique angles, and the quality also leaves much to be desired. All roads on the island are covered with concrete coating (except, perhaps the central town of Tonsala, which is asphalted). In general, friends, ride in Pangan neatly! Especially in the evenings, because with lighting roads in Pangans, too, tens.

The beach, on which we lived, had both minuses and pluses. Plus, that is poorly, and the sunset on our side. A minus - it was impossible to swim on it because of the constant sweats and the stony (more precisely, coral) bottom. They say it is better to snangle it. And we went to go just on the hath Rin, it turned out to be the most comfortable - white sand, transparent water, everything, as in guidebooks. Only go far from our beach, and the road in places is cool (scooters with weak motors can even stall on the rise).

In general, I really liked Phangan! Beautiful nature, clean sea, during periods, when there are no parties, everything is quiet and cozy, homely. Would stay there and longer if there was an opportunity!
