For some reason, many holidaymakers seek to get into Yalta. But immediately I must say - there is practically no city beach in the city. I saw tourists sunbathe almost on the sidewalk - such a holiday is not for me. That is why many boarding houses have their own beaches outside the city and organize the supply of vacationers to these beaches.
We were lucky - we lived in the park "Park" - this is part of the former sanatorium for the military, drove us to the beach for Yalta, a pebble beach, wide, even with free wooden sun beds and a canopy from the sun. The sea was pure, on an inflatable mattress swim rather far away - the little fish were swimming around with shoals. Even several times the dolphins floated in the distance.
In Yalta herself a good walk in the evenings. A good embankment, try to maintain beauty and order. Many attractions for children. Along the embankment there are many expensive restaurants and small snacks. Not bad pizzeria, always turns for pizza, no seats are not, only a couple of tables, followed by people standing.
There is a zone for sale souvenirs, an exhibition-selling of works by artists, a lot of produced photo sessions. In a word, do not bother in the evening.
From Yalta, many minibuses go to different directions. Not far there are all 3 famous palaces: Mansandrovsky, Vorontsovsky, Livadian. You can get on the shuttle buses, order an excursion, take a walk in the park (there is a park near every palace).
We never miss the opportunity to visit the Yalta zoo. He is also not in the city itself, there is a direct bus that takes almost to the gate of the zoo. The area of the zoo is very large, animals well-groomed, there is a children's zoo, where tiny pigs are walking, small goats and so on. It is possible at the entrance to the zoo to buy special feed for animals. In my opinion, the most interesting are almost manual pelicans, llamas, lions and tigers, as well as a large number of monkeys of various breeds.
Near the Zoo is "Polyana Fairy Tales" - a museum under the open sky of stone and wooden sculptures of fabulous and cartoon characters. Children are interesting, adults are also pleased to remember childhood (very many Heroes of Soviet times).
Yalta is the city of opportunity. If there is a desire and time - you can always find an interesting lesson for yourself.
