Sudak is the only major city of Crimea, in which I do not want to come back again. And the point is not that this city is something worse than others - just 10 days turned out to be enough to see everything, and this is enough.
What are the advantages in rest in Sudak:
1. A wider beach strip than in other major resort centers of Crimea.
2. A wonderful children's fleet with attractions, however, during my visit a bit launched.
But ... the city's transport connection to the rest of the Crimea is very badly established, the city is away from traditional Crimean attractions, so during the rest in Sudak, we had to be satisfied with the sightseeing of attractions that are nearby.
And to see in Sudak there is something. First of all, this is the Genoese Fortress. We lived just near the fortress, so they could visit it several times. The first time is a sightseeing program. The area of the fortress is extensive, so you must wear comfortable clothes and comfortable shoes. There are practically no trees on the territory of the fortress, so all the time under the sun - water and headdress is needed. The excursion will be interesting to those who like to wander around collapse and learn about the details of the life of Middle Ages.
Our holiday coincided with the holding of the annual festival "Genoese Helmet". For 3 days in pike perch, lovers of the restoration of the Middle Ages go: Master of handmade, craftsmen of owning sword and so on. Apotheosis of the day - theatrical fairy tale of good and evil with the participation of renovated medieval weapons: crossbows, guns. It is interesting to see once, especially the children were delighted.
Another excursion that must be done, resting in Sudak is a walking walk along the Golitsyn trail in a new light. Before the new light can be reached by a suburban bus, from stopping before the start of the trail - 10-15 minutes. If you order an excursion - then you can walk only to the grotto of Shalyapin (according to the legend, the famous singer was played). This path is completely safe: the trail from the sea is fenced. All over the way there are trash, but no water sales points or fast food, which is very good - the impression of complete unity with nature is created. But if you travel yourself, you can walk to a wild beach in a robbery bay. After that, the beach trail rises sharply and goes into a juniper grove - you can wander anything among the relict trees, inhale the healing aroma.
In my memory, Sudak remained like a city of "wild" rest. Perhaps after many years I will come here, but it will not happen soon.
