Rested in Bulgaria several times - every time in a new resort. The first one is Sunny Beach. Rest was not bad, but I can not say that I felt that I was in another state.
1. Most buildings and hotels belong to the Soviet period, therefore are gray monolithic buildings.
2. A lot of tourists in the resort, the beaches are filled, especially in free zones, where you can sunbathe on your towel. If you want to rest more civilized - two lounge chairs with an umbrella costs 4 euros.
3. On the central beach is always noisy, music play loudly.
4. The service and the human entourage itself in hotels is practically the same as in our country, a lot of Soviet remained.
But there are many advantages in the holiday in the resort Sunny Beach.
1. Fantastic sandy beach with severe sunset in the sea, warm sea, a great place to relax with children. Every evening the beach cleans a special car - sifts sand. Therefore, the beach is always clean.
2. Everyone understands Russian.
3. Safety of movement in the city and beyond any transport.
4. Quickly cheap prices. If travel to Bulgaria is a bus, then in a three-star hotel with breakfast, it will cost about 300 euros. Prices for products in Bulgaria are not higher than the prices of our country.
5. Sunny Beach is located close to Nessebar.
It was in Nessebar that we made a sightseeing walk. The Nessebar resort was reached by taxi for 10 minutes, and already from there - on foot to the old city. Here, there is a real Bulgarian flavor. Narrow streets, old houses with wooden balconies, a lot of seafood in local restaurants. There are real ruins of the 16th century. There are still many souvenir benches, but everything is more expensive there than in the resort Sunny Beach.
Sunny Beach is considered a youth resort. There are many discos, nightclubs in which youth loves to spend time. People of older or family with children in the evenings love to walk along the promenade. Local artists and craftsmen are put up for sale.
Another distinctive feature of the resorts of Bulgaria, including the Sunny Beach - you can go to the restaurant of any hotel and order a dinner (if there are places). So you can always stroll through the territory of another hotel, unlike Turkey.
If we consider Bulgaria as a budget vacation option, then you should go to rest in this country. But there are no exotics here.
