Hua-Hin is perhaps the oldest sea resort of Thailand.
It is located about 200 km from Bangkok. Maybe not the oldest, but since the 20s of the twentieth century, this town is the official summer residence of the Royal Family of Thailand, after this place "opened" the Great Rama VI. At least once a year, members of the royal family come to relax in Hua Hin (at the Palace of Klaw Kangvon).
Hua Hin is a very picturesque place, with its tropical thickets (some of which belongs to the reserve), five kilometers of a snow-white beach and luxurious views. Interestingly, the name of the city is translated as a "stone head", this is because in the coastal waters of the city you can see sticking stones. Single stone heads. That's so simple!
The sea in this part is quite calm, strong adversies almost do not happen. In Hua-Hin, you can see many English-style houses, great hotels, small bungalows. It's great to come here to take up diving, fishing, well, or just be on the beach on the west coast of the Siamese Gulf.
The city is noisy, lively, almost 85 thousand people live here, and quite a few tourists. In the narrow alleys of the city of Magazins, shopping shops, restaurants and snack bars. Getting to the city is quite simple, by bus, for example, and there is a small airport, from which you can make flights around the country.
It can be noted that there are many attractions in the city.
Church of Huai Mongkol (Wat Huay Mongkol)
This Buddhist temple in Prachuap Kiri Kir is a 20-minute drive from the Hua Hin center to the West. By the way, this province is considered to be a gateway to South Thailand, so this wat built here. In honor of the very revered monk Luang on a tuada, who, during his lifetime, worked perfect wonders. A monk statue towers on a pedestal in the center of a beautiful park. This statue is huge, see it from afar! Near the statue - Pavilion. It seems like dedicated to the spirits of teak trees. In addition, in this temple, you can see the statues of smaller, which depict an elephant, no less impressive, its body is decorated with bas-reliefs, and on the fangs during the holidays hang flowers garlands. Near the figure of the monk there is a playground to which religious holidays are sometimes held.
In general, this huge statue of dark color shakes to the depths of the soul.
Kaeng Krachan National Park National Park (Kaeng Krachan National Park)
One of the largest parks in Thailand is located next to Hua Hin. It seems to be even wanted to put on the UNESCO lists, but the application is still considered. Officially, these forests are considered since the 81st year of the last century. And by the way, at that time he became the 28th National Park of Thailand. The park occupies a large enough territory and borders with the cities of Phetchaburi and Prachuapkhirikhan. In this park on the elephants of the mountains of Tenassery (with the highest point of 1200 meters), tropical forests, oaks, chestnuts, maples, palm trees grow. And here there are 57 species of mammals, such as gibbons, tigers and deer, and a huge number of birds (400 views of minimum).
Two rivers run through the park, which merge in a lake area of about 46 sqm. Sometime, wild elephants were worn around the park, however, now there are much less. From Hua-Hina about two hours riding east.
Train Station - Also old historical city building. It is located in the city center. And the pearl station Royal waiting room rebuilt to meet the Royal Family and other high-ranking citizens.
When this luxury hall was built, I do not know, but the construction of the Bangkok line - Hua-Hin ended in 1911, and after that, in Hua Hin, there were more expensive citizens.
Visit Palace MrigaDayavan Palace. (Among our compatriots are known as a teak palace).
This beautiful building is located on the coast of Bang Kra, between Cha-AM and Hua-Khinn, in Petchaburi province (address- 1281, Phetkasame Road, Tambon Chaam, Amphoe Chaam, Phetchaburi, 15 minutes from the center of Hua Hina north on the shore) . This palace was built by order of King Rama VI in 1923 as a summer palace. The palace is open to the visit and is located in the center of a beautiful park.
The entire palace is made of teak tree. It consists of 16 pavilions. Interestingly, with Thai, the name of the palace translates as the "Palace of Love and Hope": they built the palace when the queen was pregnant, and the King of Vachaveavuh built a palace for the future heir. But this was not destined to happen, since the queen had a miscarriage. However, later the royal couple was born daughter. In the pavilions of these official ceremonies, theatrical performances, techniques were held. These facilities are connected between the veranda with a large number of pillars (more than a thousand). There is also a residence in the palace for relatives of the kings, a dining pavilion and other premises. Today, this palace became a historical museum, where you can admire the royal artifacts and ancient photos.
By the way, you can walk on the premises only barefoot, and the floor is covered with varnish. Photographing inside the pavilions can not.
Rabby on Hill Khao Takiab (Khao Takiab).
The title of the hill is translated as ... "Food sticks." So it goes! The luxurious hill, surrounded by beaches, is a great place to relax and admire the beauties of the city and the sea. He is a little south of the city center, on the seafront. Next to the mountain you can see a giant statue of the Golden Buddha.
Lestenka leads to the statue, but on the way to the Buddha you will see shopping benches with souvenirs. Next, in the course of the rise, you will fall to the temple of the monkey "Wat Khao Lad". The monkeys here, of course, the whole sea - be careful with your own things and do not think to leave them on Earth - Martyski will quickly grow.
Next, follow and see the beautiful Buddhist temple.
If you look at the other side of the hill, you will see a fishing village at the soles, you can go down there to dine in the fish restaurant.
And further - a two-kilometer beach with black sand and small shells, which smoothly flows into the famous golf courses of the resort.
Next to this hill you can see another hill (Khao Krailat), however, it is much lower. But on it you can visit the current temple, which was built by decree IV. And also, climbing the hill steep stairs, you can see abandoned little cotton wool.
