Secret Buddha Garden (Secret Buddha Garden)
The garden was defeated in 1976 by the efforts of the monk, whose name was Thongsuk (therefore, this park is sometimes called the "garden of Nima"). This garden costs pretty high in the mountains. In the garden you can see a lot of sculptures that depict people, birds and animals. And, of course, it is the sculpture of the Buddha. There is in kindergarten and small but very beautiful waterfall.
Well, the main thing is the observation deck, which stands at the highest point of the garden - you can admire the luxurious views of the island and the sea. This garden is located in the Na Mueang area, almost in the center of the island (coordinates: 9.483138, 99.994204)
Wat Lamai
In this temple, weddings, funeral and religious festivals are carried out. When fairs are held on Samui, this temple and his employees take direct participation in it. The fairs, as a rule, last about a week, and are a colorful show.

At the temple there is something like a museum center, where you can admire the collection of objects of the last island of Samui: coins, ancient tools, muskets, bicycles, something from flora and fauna. Rocks "Grandma" and "Grandfather" (Hin Yai and Hin Ta, Grandmother and Grandfather Rocks)

They are located on the beach of Lamai - this is in the east of the island, in the Mariet area (oriented at the Sunrise Bungalow hotel, which is at 126/2 Moo3, Tambon Maret, somewhere there). It is worth this temple on a tiny isochka (which is connected with the land dear in 200 meters) in the Bo Poot area, two kilometers from the airport to North-West.
SAMUI BUTTERFLY GARDEN)
Look for this garden in the south-east of the island, on the coast, opposite the central resort village, in the Na Mueang area. This garden is broken on the mountainside. You can get to the garden on the stairs. The park is very green - trees, flowers, waterfalls, bridges, boulders. Also there are several arbors for recreation and viewing sites.
In this garden you can admire the stage with 25 types of butterflies. And here there is a small museum where you will see rare insects of Thailand and other countries. There is even an apiary! In general, the garden is a designated place for a walk with the whole family.
Waterfall on Muang (Na Muang Waterfall)
Beautiful place on the island. Rocks surrounding a waterfall, some reddish-purple color. And the height of the waterfall, for a minute, almost 80 meters! It is impossible to swim in it, it is quite dangerous, but then there is a small swimming pool, where you can begin. Even children. There is this waterfall next to Na Muang Safari Park, in the area of Muang, a 10-minute drive from the shore north, to the center of the island.
Temple Khunaram (Wat Khunaram)
Wat (Temple) Kshunaram is a unique place. At least because there are stored mummified bodies of one of the most famous Buddhist monks. His body is stored in a special construction near the temple. And the temple, and the tomb can be visited for free. The body belongs to the monk of Phra Khru Sammatakitikuunu, who was once the abbot of this wool. He came to the monks in old age, but he became famous for his practice of meditation. Eyewitnesses tell that he could meditate for two weeks without a break. It is over, a monk has many students, among Buddhist monks and laity.
Interestingly, he also predicted his death (and he died in 1973). When it turned out that his body was nonsense, relatives and disciples of Phra Khru decided to put it in a glass sarcophague (this monk was also predicted). In this tomb, the monk sits, wrapped in an orange robe, the sarcophagus itself is very beautiful, with red-gold traditional jewelry on the sides. Before the sarcophagus put his statue (in the post meditation, too). Of course, the kind of mummified monk - the spectacle is not the most pleasant. Okay, at least it was put on him glasses, otherwise somehow unpleasant. But still, the place is completely unique! The temple is located in the southeastern side of the island, in the area to Muang, half an hour walk from the eastern shore on the road.
Laem Sor Pagoda Pagoda
