Kuopio - a small port town.

Museum of the Orthodox Church of Finland

Hospital Museum in Hariamyaki
To get there, you need to drive 20 km from the center of Kuopio to the northeast, to the town of Silinjarvi. This unusual museum is an amateur, perhaps. Actually, there are guests for all the intricacies of working with patients who suffer from psycho-neurological diseases. Is it still interesting? So, this hospital was built in the 20s of the last century. Then the town was still a small commune. However, a little later, this most hospital suddenly became one of the largest and most influential psychiatric hospitals throughout the country! In the 70s, there were thousands of patients on the treatment. This was brought here everyone who suffered from depression, alcoholism and schizophrenia. However, despite the prosperity, this hospital was covered in the 97th year. But the museum made it, not to disappear.
