On the territory of the Nizhny city there are archaeological museum, the building of the Academy of Sciences and Arts, as well as Gallery of Strostsmayer. On an area that bears the name of the first Croatian king Tomislav, its equestrian monument was established. But the wonderful building of the Croatian National Theater is located on the square of Marshal Tito. This area is very decorated with "Fountain of Life", performed by Ivan Zastrolovich. Not far from the building of the theater is located the popular Mimar Museum, in which the canvas are exhibited by very famous artists.

The largest garden ensemble in Croatia - Maximir, made in English style, spread out in the eastern part of the capital. The time of its foundation refers to the XVIII-XIX centuries. Another excellent sample of English style in Gardening Art is the Miroga Cemetery, which is considered one of the most picturesque in Europe.
