Sopot is a fairly famous sea resort in the north of the country.
This town lies between Gdansk and Gdynia on the shore of the Gdansk Bay. Sopot is a really interesting city and a wonderful resort with prices, lower than on other resorts of Poland. And between those, the beaches there are noble. From the mid-19th century, people travel here the same way and get into the baths.
And also, nature is very beautiful here. Near the beach you can see the park, which, by the way, was broken in the swamp. There are various cultural institutions in Sopot, and sports and wellness too. And from the 60s, the international festival of songs is held in the town, in the last decade of August. Krivoy Domek (Krzywy Domek)
Favorite tourist attraction of the town. The house of an unusual form was erected in 2004 and he immediately became a symbol of the city. The house even included in the list of the 50 most unusual homes in the world. The house belongs to the trading complex "Resident" and occupies a fairly large area. In the curve house there are offices of two urban radio stations, a restaurant, shopping and gaming halls. And in the curve house there is a wall of glory: each guest can leave the signature on this wall.

Open-air Museum "Sopit Sopot" (Skansen Archeologiczny "Grodzisko W SOPOCIE")
This museum complex is a branch of the Archaeological Museum of Gdansk. He is in the Bukov Forest and offers its guests the most unique archaeological finds. For example, the ancient products from bones and amber, ceramics and iron, it is dishes, decorations and even clothes of different eras. In this complex there are entertainment: you will learn to shoot from Luka, will help to master medieval crafts, and here you can listen to the melodies of vintage Polish songs.
By the way, the opening of the museum has happened thanks to the German scientist who spent excavations in this forest, and then bought the territory, even continue this case. However, during the Second World War, almost all materials and research documents were lost, and the excavations continued only in the 60s. Today on the territory of the museum you can see the ruins of the fortress in the shape of a horseshoe, which surrounds the shaft. This design dates back to the 9th century. Inside this fortress, seven residential objects were once located, which, in all likelihood, burned down. In general, the place is very interesting and mysterious.

Sopot's Lighthouse (Latarnia Morska Sopot)
The lighthouse was built at the very beginning of the last century. Today the lighthouse is not valid, but is open to visits. The height of the structure is about 30 meters, and this place is now a total observation deck with which luxurious views of the city and the surroundings are opened. Design of red brick with a roof in the shape of a pyramid. Once this lighthouse illuminated the path to seven nautical miles (then you mean, about 12 km) and blinked every 4 seconds. The lighthouse, however, served until the Second World War. And then this building was handed over to the Golobolnice. When the hospital was visited in the 75th year, the lighthouse had not surrendered to anyone, and he was abandoned. True, quickly came to mind, the lighthouse was needed! Although with such an old equipment, the lighthouse was not long, and soon became solely tourist joy.

Resort House (Dom Zdrojowy)
This cute building stands on the pier, next to the Hotel Sheraton. The house is big, if not to say huge- 10105 sq.m, is there a joke? The house has a spa complex, conference center, shopping center, restaurants, bars, even underground parking. They are going to open an art gallery here. Here is a multi center. At first, this center was one-story - then there was a hotel and the hall for banquets. Then they began to attach a spa center, and this is for a minute, in 1879! This building, however, was demolished, and in his place they built a new, already with a casino and all sorts of restaurants. This resort house was very popular among the guests of the town, but during the Second World War they were plundered and burned. Up to zero house could not begin to restore and restore. Only in 2006 there was a prayer, which helped the old building to recover. In style, the building was made as the previous one, the beginning of the last century. To date, the resort house is an excellent place for recreation and entertainment.

SopoCie Pier (Molo W Sopocie)
The exclusiveness of this pier is that it is the longest on the Baltic Sea - 511.5 meters in total! Pier is considered a full-fledged attraction. He was built in 1827 from the middle of the main beach, and the pier immediately became a favorite place for romantic and wellness walks in tourists - like, on the edge of the water pier more useful, because there is more iodine in it than in the one that is about babe. Next to the Pierce is now held a variety of events, festivals and parties, and a boat and water taxis are moored to the pier. This pier is inferior in length of only Iron Pier Sauzend in the UK. By the way, in the middle of the 19th century, the entrance to the feast was paid. Now everything is free, of course. In 2005, Pierce was even named after John Paul II, who visited the resort twice at the end of the last century.

Monttak Street (Monciak)
Official name Street, combat Cassino Monte. But it is called Monttya, because it leads to a mullet, that is, to the very pier. This is the most favorite walking street, and even, one of the most famous in the whole Poland. It contains countless pubs, restaurants and galleries, in the summer there are street musicians and stray theaters, sit with their paintings, artists, and smells. In general, the place is notable.
Waterpark Sopot (Aquapark Sopot)
Well, what to write here. Where else should you go with babies to have fun, if not in the water park? Yes, and adults here will also like it, definitely. In addition to the water park, there is a bowling, sauna and restaurants.

Pybatskaya Pier
This pier is located in the southern part of the city beach, at the mouth of the carlikov stream. Pretty romantic place, and very quiet. And they work here, mostly offacarious fishermen.
