I can talk about your vacation at this resort for hours, because with confidence I can say that you fell in love with this area as soon as I saw.
In 2010, when I chose a place for a seafood, the direction for Sri Lanka was not very budget. However, coming to the travel agency, I received a chic offer with an affordable price for rest in Vadduva for 10 days, of which 7 nights on the beach and 3 days of excursions with a Russian-speaking guide and with accommodation in the mountains.
The only thing that was not pleased for the whole trip is the tedious flight with a transfer to the UAE.
On the first holidays of rest we were planned excursions and respectively accommodation in the Amaya Hills Mountain Hotel. The hotel is simply wonderful, the view from the window is fantastic, and the smells of the tropics and the sounds of the cicada simply could not leave us indifferent. The hotel also pleased with the hotel, especially delicious desserts - souffle and baking.
These three days were just unforgettable for us. We visited many places that left such a pleasant impression of the resort:
- Royal Botanical Garden, which struck us with a variety of plants and trees, which will usually do not meet in our area.
- Tea Factory. This trip was not only interesting for us, but also useful because I am a big connoisseur of high-quality tea and has long dreamed of buying a real Ceylon tea.

- Garden Spices
The final stage of this period was for us to visit an elephant nursery.
The following 7 days we spent on the sea at the Villa Ocean View. The hotel is just suitable for a relaxing holiday, as there are very few entertainment around. Although interesting parties were satisfied with all tourists directly.
We lived not at the ocean itself, in the villa on the second floor, however, the wonderful landscape was viewed from the balcony between other buildings.
By the way, I was very surprised that our place of residence had neither shops nor souvenir shops. We were helped by local residents who showed a small store in the district.
We went to the shopping in Colombo - the city is small in size, but the hustronized. You can buy everything here - clothes, souvenirs, products, etc.
The cheapest turned out to be House of Fashion, clothes here at reasonable prices, however, the quality is bad. Tasty cheeses and wine purchased in Kells, "because imported goods are sold in this supermarket, which are no longer anywhere else.
So Sri Lanka is a picturesque place where the soul is resting and the body. We will return here someday once again.
