Two years ago I had an excellent opportunity to relax and get acquainted with the amazing country - the Republic of Mauritius. Since I, I myself, practically didn't know anything about this country myself, I will probably clarify. Mauritius is an island state, in the Indian Ocean, it is about 900 km to the east, from Madagascar Island. The capital of Port Louis is located in the northwestern part of the island of Mauritius. Since, at different times, these islands belonged to that of Portugal, then Holland, then France, then England, the influence of European cultures there is very well noticeable. Also in the language plan, it is difficult to say what language there is main, but residents speaking in Mauritius, English and French. Since I only know English, I talked on it, and felt pretty comfortable.
European tourists have a good popularity, but Russians are not often found. The reason for this is very high prices (to spend the night in the hotel costs 200-300 euros). But there are very beautiful places there, do not describe it, it must be seen. Excellent climate, you can relax all year round. In general, Mauritius, everyone will find classes in the soul, diving, surfing and just a beach vacation. The best beaches are located on the southeastern part of the island, in general there is also the only airport where I started my acquaintance with this country. Most of the time I spent in the city of Maeburg, everything in the same part of the island. There I enjoyed beautiful beaches, and clean sea. Only occasionally drove on excursions to neighboring villages, sometimes deepening deep into the island.
